1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Zeno Scan Pro ("the App"), provided by Zeno Network Labs / Zeno Network, handles information when you scan, import, enhance, convert, organize, view, export, or share documents.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
2. Information the App Handles
The App may handle content that you choose to provide, including:
- Photos or camera captures used for document scanning.
- PDF, image, text, and supported Office-type files that you select or import.
- Text extracted from images through OCR (optical character recognition).
- Generated PDF files and other document outputs created by you.
This content is used to provide the features you request. The current release does not require a Zeno Scan Pro account and does not send your document library to a Zeno Network Labs server.
3. Camera, Files and Device Access
Depending on your Android version and the feature you use, the App may request or use access necessary to:
- Camera / document scanning: capture pages for scans.
- Files and media selected by you: import, read, convert, save, open, export, or share documents.
- Temporary app storage: create intermediate or generated files required for scanning and conversion.
Where Android's system file picker is used, you choose the files the App can access. You can manage app permissions at any time from Android Settings.
4. On-Device Processing and Third-Party Technology
Zeno Scan Pro uses Google ML Kit / Google Play services components for document scanning and text recognition. These components help perform scanning and OCR functionality. Their operation may be subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices.

5. Data Collection, Advertising and Analytics
In the current release of Zeno Scan Pro:
- We do not sell your personal information or document content.
- We do not upload your scanned documents to our own cloud server.
- We do not include a Zeno advertising SDK.
- We do not include a Zeno analytics or behavioral tracking system.
If these practices change in a future release, this policy and the corresponding Google Play Data safety information will be updated as required.
6. Sharing and Exporting
The App can let you open, export, or share files using apps and services installed on your device. When you intentionally share a document with another app, cloud service, messaging service, email provider, or other destination, that third party's privacy practices apply to the information you send to it.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Documents and outputs stored by the App remain on your device or in a location you select until you delete them, uninstall the App where applicable, or remove them through Android/file-management tools. Files exported to another location or shared with another service must be deleted from that destination separately.
8. Security
We use Android platform protections and app-scoped/file access mechanisms appropriate to the App's functionality. However, no device, storage system, or method of electronic processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should protect your device with appropriate screen-lock and account security settings, especially when storing sensitive documents.
9. Children's Privacy
Zeno Scan Pro is a general document productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through a Zeno Scan Pro account or developer-controlled document server in the current release.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, legal requirements, permissions, or third-party services change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
