Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Zeno Network Labs ("we", "us") handles information in Zeno Convert Pro ("the App"), our media converter, player and document toolkit for Android and Windows.

Local-first media tools: Files selected for ordinary local playback, editing and supported offline conversion are handled on your device. Content is transmitted to a service when you specifically use an online feature such as cloud AI, text translation or server-based Office conversion.

Normal playback, supported on-device media conversion and locally generated PDFs use the files you choose. The App may create temporary files, thumbnails, drafts and results on your device. Ordinary local operations are not designed to automatically upload your media library to Zeno Network Labs. Files you save, export or share remain wherever you put them.

When you request online processing, the App sends the selected information to the service needed to provide that operation:

These services require internet access and may be unavailable until configured. Please avoid uploading highly sensitive files unless you are comfortable with server-based processing. Service providers may retain operational logs or metadata under their own policies.

4. Microphone, files and device permissions

If you choose voice typing, the App may request microphone permission and use device speech-recognition services. Spoken audio or its transcript may be processed by the operating system's speech provider, possibly using network services depending on the device. The App uses file pickers, shared-file intents and storage access to work with content you select; you can manage permissions in device settings.

5. Advertising on Android

The Android Free edition may display banner, interstitial or rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, device/app information, ad interactions, diagnostics and applicable privacy or consent choices as described in their policies. Paid Premium, Family Premium and Admin entitlements are intended to remove in-app advertisements. The Windows app, including its five-export free trial, does not display mobile ads.

Where legally required, advertising choices and consent must be presented and managed through applicable platform controls. You can also review and adjust your device's advertising privacy settings.

6. Purchases, Premium and family administration

Google Play handles Android subscription or one-time purchase payments and may provide purchase data needed for secure verification. Zeno Network Labs stores entitlement records associated with the signed-in account in Firebase/Firestore. One verified lifetime purchase is associated with the same signed-in Gmail account and unlocks Premium on Android and Windows. Approved administrators may grant or revoke Family Premium for both platforms based on the family member's account email address; revoking a family grant does not remove an independently verified paid purchase. Windows lifetime purchases use the website’s bank-transfer order flow and manual verification of the actual bank credit. The website uses Firebase Web Google sign-in. Windows sign-in uses browser approval with a short-lived computer code; a random secret stays in the desktop app. Session tokens, installation identifier and signed offline license are protected by the operating system’s secure storage. Paid Windows offline certificates renew at least every 30 days; family certificates renew at least every 7 days or the grant’s expiry, whichever comes first. Revocation takes effect when the app next refreshes its account online, and no later than the offline certificate’s expiry when disconnected.

7. Why information is used and shared

Information is processed to deliver the features you request, save local settings or progress, authenticate accounts, verify purchases, administer Premium entitlements, prevent abuse, serve ads to eligible Free users, troubleshoot failures and comply with applicable laws. We do not sell your personal documents or files. Selected content is shared with cloud providers when you activate their processing features, or with other apps/services when you intentionally export or share it.

Relevant providers include Google Firebase, Google Cloud Translation, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob and the infrastructure supporting any configured cloud AI or Office conversion service. Their practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.

8. Data retention and account deletion

Local drafts, history, preferences and output files are retained on your device until you delete them, clear app storage or uninstall the App, subject to the locations in which files were saved. Exported or shared copies must be removed separately from their destination.

Firebase account information and server-side entitlement or purchase-verification records may be retained while the account exists and thereafter where necessary for billing, fraud prevention, security or legal obligations. Cloud providers may retain service logs according to their policies. The precise retention period may differ by service and applicable requirements.

Delete directly: in the app, open Profile → Delete my account; on the website, sign in with Google, expand Delete my Zeno account and verify with Google again. This deletes the Auth account, profile, active paid and family entitlement records. Purchase-verification, bank-order and approval records may remain for accounting, fraud prevention and purchase verification. The store-owner account cannot be deleted through the customer flow.

To request account and associated data deletion: email mr.ishfaq302@gmail.com with the subject Zeno Convert Pro Account Deletion and the email associated with your Zeno account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before acting on the request. You can request access to or deletion of personal information we control through the same contact.

Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete a Firebase account or data already shared with other services. Deleting an account removes current Zeno account access and does not by itself issue a refund. Android offers a one-time lifetime product. Payment records held by Google Play or your bank are subject to those providers’ policies.

9. Security and international processing

We use platform security controls and HTTPS for configured cloud requests, and keep service credentials on servers where appropriate. No electronic system can be guaranteed entirely secure. Cloud providers may process information on servers outside your country, subject to their terms and applicable safeguards.

10. Children

The App is a general-purpose productivity and media utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us to request appropriate action.

11. Your choices

You may use available offline functions without uploading files to a cloud converter, avoid optional AI and translation features, manage microphone and file permissions, control advertising preferences where supported, clear local app data, and request account deletion or information about personal data controlled by Zeno Network Labs.

We may revise this policy when the App, third-party providers or legal obligations change. Updates will be published here with a revised last-updated date.
