Zeno Calculator is provided by Zeno Network Labs. This policy explains how the app accesses, processes, stores and shares information when you use its calculator, Scan & Total, advertising and Lifetime Premium features.
Information and data processed
Camera and selected images
The app requests camera access only when you choose to photograph a receipt, handwritten list or document. You may instead select an image through Android's system picker. An image may contain personal information depending on what you capture or select.
Printed-text recognition can run on the device with Google ML Kit. When you choose online handwriting recognition, the app crops the photo to the area you selected, compresses that crop and sends it over an encrypted connection to a Firebase callable function and Google Cloud Vision. The service returns detected amount candidates for your review. The full photo is not uploaded by Zeno Calculator, and detected values are not added to your total until you review and confirm them.
Zeno Network Labs does not intentionally save the uploaded crop in a developer database or cloud-storage bucket. Google cloud infrastructure may process limited technical logs and request metadata for security, reliability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Keep unnecessary or sensitive information outside the selected crop.
Data stored on your device
Calculation history, confirmed scan rows, settings, ad-frequency counters and Lifetime Premium entitlement status are stored in local app storage. Camera files may exist temporarily in the app's private cache. Android may clear cached files automatically, and uninstalling normally removes the app's private local data.
PDF and CSV files are created only when you choose to export them. You control where those files are saved and shared.
Advertising and consent
Free users may receive banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. Google's advertising and consent SDKs may process advertising identifiers, device and app information, IP-derived approximate location, consent choices, ad interactions and diagnostic information, depending on your region, device settings and consent choices. Where required, the app presents Google's consent form and privacy options before requesting ads. Lifetime Premium disables banner and interstitial ads.
Lifetime Premium purchases
Lifetime Premium is a one-time in-app product handled by Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment and account information. The app receives purchase status, product information and a purchase token to activate or restore Premium. Zeno Network Labs does not receive your full payment-card or bank details.
Other technical information
Google services used by the app may process device, app, network, diagnostic and security information needed to provide ads, billing, consent and cloud handwriting recognition. The app does not request your contacts, passwords or precise location, and Zeno Network Labs does not use it to create an independent advertising profile.
How information is used

- To provide, verify and restore Lifetime Premium.
- To display and measure ads for free users after applicable consent handling.
- To protect the service, diagnose failures, improve reliability and meet legal or platform requirements.
Service providers and sharing
The app uses Google ML Kit for on-device printed-text recognition, Google Firebase and Google Cloud Vision for selected-crop handwriting recognition, Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform for ads and consent choices, and Google Play Billing for purchases and restoration.
These providers may process information under their own terms and policies. Review Google's Privacy Policy, Google's partner technologies notice, Firebase Privacy and Security, and AdMob privacy information.
Zeno Network Labs does not sell or rent personal information. Data is disclosed only to providers needed for the features you choose, when legally required, or to protect users, the app and the public.
Retention and deletion
Local history, preferences and entitlement state remain until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Exported files remain wherever you saved or shared them until you delete them.
Selected handwriting crops are processed to return OCR results and are not intentionally retained by Zeno Network Labs as user records. Google providers may retain limited operational, security, billing, advertising or diagnostic data under their policies and legal obligations.
The app does not create a Zeno account, so there is no Zeno account to delete. You can remove local data through Android Settings or by uninstalling the app. Contact us for privacy questions or requests relating to data controlled by Zeno Network Labs.
Security
Reasonable technical measures are used, including encrypted HTTPS connections for online handwriting recognition and keeping Cloud Vision credentials on the backend instead of in the app. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children's privacy
Zeno Calculator is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the app.
Your choices
You may decline camera permission, use Android's picker, avoid online handwriting recognition, crop out unnecessary information, correct OCR results before confirmation, manage advertising privacy choices when available, purchase Lifetime Premium to remove ads, clear local app data or uninstall the app.
International processing
Google services may process information on servers outside your country. Google's terms, privacy policies and applicable safeguards govern those transfers.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when features, providers or legal requirements change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
